Warranty and After-Sales

Warranty is where supplier promises meet buyer risk, so it deserves a careful reading. This guide separates the general warranty statement from the model-level warranty rows, because confusing the two is the commonest warranty error in air conditioner buying.

The general warranty statement

The company FAQ and after-sales material state a general warranty: five years for the compressor and two years for other parts, with one percent free spare parts per container. That statement is the baseline a buyer can quote in a negotiation. It is accompanied by descriptions of end-to-end after-sales support, fast customer assistance, customer training and a self-diagnosis system that shows error codes on an LCD display, with local representatives providing troubleshooting support. The customer service centre hours are stated as Monday to Friday 09:00–13:00 and 14:00–18:00, and Saturday 09:00–13:00, closed on Sunday and public holidays. Those hours matter for a distributor planning service coverage, because they define when supplier help is available and when the distributor's own team must cover.

Model-level warranty rows differ — check each model

Individual model pages on this site list their own warranty rows where listed, and those rows do not all match the general statement. Several models list 24 months for units and five years for the compressor. Others — including the Aeolus fixed-frequency 9,000 BTU model, the Rex R454B model and the Aeolus floor standing model — list 36 months for units and six years for the compressor. The difference is real and it changes the ownership comparison: a model with a 36-month unit warranty carries a longer unit cover than a model with a 24-month unit warranty, even when the compressor figure also differs. A buyer who copies the general statement into every model comparison will erase that difference and may choose the wrong model for a customer who values unit cover. The rule is simple: for any model with a listed warranty row, use that row; use the general statement only where no model row is listed, and say which one you are using when you quote it.

What warranty does not cover on this page

No page on this site states warranty exclusions, claim procedures, response times or spare parts pricing, because none of those details is in the source material. A buyer who needs them should ask for the warranty terms document in the inquiry, together with the model list, and should confirm how claims are handled in their market — who inspects, who ships parts, who pays freight. The one percent free spare parts per container is a useful planning figure, but it is not a substitute for a spare parts price list, and a distributor should ask for that list before the first container ships rather than after the first failure. Certificates are available upon request, and the same discipline applies: ask for the exact documents, do not assume them.
